Q1 2024 Performance of Top Sandbox Games on iOS in Europe

European iOS users have continued to show their affection for sandbox games in the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower's latest data offers insights into how different titles fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Roblox maintained its strong position with revenues ranging from $2.1M to $2.7M weekly. Downloads showed a slight decrease from 366K in the first week to around 255K by the quarter's end, while weekly active users saw a peak of 7.9M in the last week of March after a dip earlier in the quarter.

Block Craft 3D: Building Games experienced modest revenues, hovering around a few thousand dollars each week. Downloads hit a high of 57K in late January but saw a general decline to 46K in mid-March, before rising again to 52K. Weekly active users showed a steady trend, starting at 399K and ending the quarter with 383K.

For The Sims™ FreePlay, revenues were consistent, with the highest at $107K in the last week of March. Downloads peaked at 48K in late January, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter slightly lower at 190K compared to the starting 226K.

MultiCraft — Build and Mine! showed relatively low revenue figures with a peak of $595 in the last week of March. Download numbers remained stable around the 28K mark, with a slight increase to 31K by quarter's end. Weekly active users saw a small increase from 213K to 170K over the quarter.

Lastly, RealmCraft - Block Craft World had negligible revenue, with only sporadic earnings recorded. Downloads were consistent, ranging from 19K to 31K. Weekly active users started at 169K and finished the quarter with a slight increase at 170K.
